Director of Education
Michelle Angela Chin has been involved in the pro-life movement in Toronto for over ten years, starting during her undergraduate years. She served as the president of the pro-life club at the University of Toronto, where she obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree. In 2014, she received TRTL’s student leadership award as a volunteer. She has had hundreds of conversations with people on the streets about abortion, given several presentations in schools and churches, and changed countless hearts and minds on the issue.
She serves as the Director of Education at Toronto Right to Life, with the goal of empowering and equipping communities in Toronto and the GTA to share the truth about abortion and assisted suicide with love and compassion.
Director of Outreach
Katie Somers has been with Toronto Right to Life since 2016. In 2015, she saw an abortion video that she happened upon through social media and that compelled Katie to focus on pro-life work exclusively, leaving behind her 14-year career as a flight attendant. Seeing the injustice so impacted her that she felt called to share the truth with others. She loves to change hearts and minds on abortion and assisted suicide, and is passionate about this life-saving work.
Admin & Events Coordinator
Bernadette grew up in a family that strongly supported the pro-life movement, but she didn’t give it much thought until, at age 12, she was deeply moved by images of abortion victims. This experience ignited her passion, leading her to actively share the truth about abortion with love and compassion.
While interning with CCBR, she encountered the End the Killing strategy, which inspired her continued volunteer work throughout high school and university. She majored in Communications Media and minored in Musical Theatre, earning her a Bachelor of Science from John Paul the Great Catholic University. As a storyteller, she is passionate about using her skills to transform the culture with the pro-life message, aiming to awaken others to the plight of the most vulnerable.
