He said level of experience and brain development [were what gives us human rights]. I told him that I had a niece who had Down Syndrome, and asked him if she was worth less than me. He said no, and I… explained to him it was because she too was a human.

I then compared my niece to the sign I was holding and explained… [t]he fetus in the sign was human, [just like] my niece… she will grow up to be a human infant, then a toddler, then a teenager, etc… He saw my point and actually looked at me for the first time… By the end he became pro-life.”
