Toronto Right to Life presents human rights lawyer, Faye Sonier, for a special presentation taking a close look at freedom of conscience, your rights and your role in building a culture of life in Canada.

The presentation will be preceded by the Toronto RTL Annual General Meeting, where you’ll have a chance to hear what we’ve been up to, what we have planned and how you can be a part of building a culture of life in the GTA!

Faye Sonier joined Canadian Physicians for Life as Executive Director and General Legal Counsel in March 2015. She brought to the organization seven years of experience in the charitable sector, having previously been Legal Counsel for the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. She has practiced constitutional and human rights law, with a special focus on freedom of religion and conscience, and sanctity of human life issues. She has also lobbied, made submissions to government, and appeared before appellate courts and the Supreme Court of Canada to advocate on matters relating to abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide, and genetic and reproductive technologies. She’s a regular contributor to ProWomanProLife.org.
