Maaike Rosendal, has been a public advocate for the pro-life position since she enrolled at the University of Lethbridge in 2005. Maaike is a founding member of the campus pro-life club, and has served her university career as the vice-president and president of Students for Life, through which she came into contact with the Canadian Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform. Maaike obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary in 2009 and hasworked as community liaison for the Lethbridge & District Pro-Life Association. In the summer of 2012, Maaike and her newborn son Elliot joined the New Abortion Caravan to bring the pro-life message while travelling across Canada. It was this experience that convinced Maaike to work for CCBR in order to do effective pro-life work at a national level. Maaike joined the CCBR staff in the fall of 2012 and is now thier campus outreach director. She represents the pro-life position in debates with pro-choice students, university professors and, most notably, with late-term abortionist Dr. Fraser Fellows.
