Toronto Right to Life has delivered pro-life education to Toronto and the GTA since 1971. TRTL’s Education Team provides presentations and workshops designed to assist community leaders, pastors and teachers address the issues of abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide.  Current education and presentation material approaches the life issues from the perspective of science and human rights, to change hearts and minds and save lives.

Presentations Available:
Topic: Abortion
Description: An introduction to the abortion issue using science and human rights. Content includes biology, prenatal development, personhood, statistics and action points. This presentation’s goal is to educate as well as inspire listeners to move into pro-life action and become aware of life-affirming alternatives to abortion.
Age: Two versions are available:
1) Grade nine and older (one standard presentation used for all ages including adults).
2) Grade seven and eight (one standard presentation designed to present sensitive information in a manner suitable for children in senior elementary school grades).

Topic: Euthanasia
Description: An introduction to the issues of euthanasia and assisted suicide. Content includes definitions, prevention vs promotion, exploring solutions to difficult life circumstances, disability, outcomes of euthanasia and assisted suicide and pro-life alternatives, duty to care. This presentation’s goal is to educate as well as inspire listeners to move into pro-life action and become aware of life affirming alternatives to euthanasia and assisted suicide.
Age: Grade nine and older (one standard presentation used for all ages including adults).

Learn how to defend the pro-life position with courage and compassion, using science and human rights in order to change hearts and minds—and save lives. Reasons to attend a dialogue workshop:
-If you’re new to pro-life dialogue, get equipped to have fruitful conversations in your community.
-If you’re experienced, improve your dialogue skills and help newcomers learn.
-Get trained for TRTL’s Education Team  or for pro-life street activism.
